I have a real earnest love of design, a deep understanding of the design process and an ability to demonstrate a measured approach on the merit of any brief. My skills and experience are transferable across all disciplines which I have discovered producing specifically tailored work to meet the demands of various industries. I have a proven track record of seeking out new business, articulating the clients needs and executing innovative work. Always mindful of time restraints, I have excellent organisational skills that allow me to juggle multiple projects efficiently with no compromise on quality.
I have found that flexibility is a real asset in design, and it is certainly something I have embraced. I’m eager to please and strive to do so. But I’ve also come to understand the importance of selling my ideas, being influential with my opinions, and decisive. With time and experience I’ve learnt that when you are truthful and genuinely passionate about what you want to do and how you want to do it, people tend to listen and support you in your work.
I am exceptionally lucky in that design is not just my trade, but my hobby - and I know that this is evident in my work. I see design in everything around me and while great design never fails to please me, it is bad design that truly excites me: it presents a problem for me to solve.
There is always a solution to any brief and one that poses many questions will inevitably lead to a more complex and groundbreaking outcome.
