Working with small–medium sized companies to create compelling brands, new identities, promotional materials, print collateral, social media marketing, and responsive websites that creatively and effectively communicate their message and help to meet their business goals.

Provided creative direction to a team of 3 designers to handle the marketing needs of CanvasOnDemand.com, GreatBigCanvas.com, CanvasOnDemand.com/Pro, ImageKind.com and InvitationBox.com. Worked on everything from site redesigns, SEO landing pages, mobile optimized websites, engaging email campaigns, email coding & testing to social media campaigns.

Worked to cultivate a creative team that could not only design for various target audiences, but also generate innovative ideas to reach new audiences. Worked with team members and the Marketing Director to manage and grow social media channels to become significant revenue generating channels as well as site referral sources.

Worked directly with a breast cancer survivor to develop brand identity, website and collateral that effectively conveys one woman’s journey through reconstruction surgery. Designed and produced a book that is currently being distributed to women diagnosed with breast cancer through online sales, doctors’ offices, hospitals, cancer support groups and other events. Currently, the book is in 79 cities and 5 countries. Distribution of the book and redesign of the website resulted in breast cancer awareness, hope for women diagnosed, increased donations through book sales and online donations and growth of the organization to begin new programs to empower young women.

Organized educational events for chapter members that were relevant and informative. Coordinated with board members, vendors, speakers and venues to put events together within budget.

Designed brochures, ads, direct mails, newsletters and more within brand standards while enforcing quality control. Designed and developed custom websites that fit clients needs using the Joomla Content Management System. Managed several monthly and quarterly e-newsletters.

Designed and managed materials for membership, youth programs and philanthropic campaigns. Coordinated with personnel from 13 YMCA branches to assess needs, develop concepts, create and design layouts, make production schedules and worked with vendors to see projects were completed on time and within budget. Results exceeded membership goals, filled youth programs & summer day camp and contributed to the YMCA mission by expanding philanthropy programs.
