MUSIC FOR YOUR EYES

\\WAVES is a concept-driven playlist hub & visual gateway to music – a cross-disciplinary project that merges illustration, animation and graphic design to create music-synced visuals.

The rules are simple: each playlist is built around a specific, almost cinematographic imagery – never a genre! – and no song can be featured in more than one playlist. Looping, animated artworks are then posted on Instagram, with each of them taking the user to a song or a playlist on the \\WAVES Spotify channel.

Currently headed by its founder Rhox, \\WAVES brings together an ever-expanding roster of astonishingly skilful collaborators, who help fuel the project with inspiring ideas and top-notch visuals. Their mission? Making visible the most invisible form of art: music.
