My primary goal is to create brilliant visual designs that not only deliver a message, but tell a story. I want the viewer to react noticeably – with a smile, raised eyebrow, head nod, a forward to a friend or colleague – all of the above. I take pride in my work and nothing leaves my desk that isn’t portfolio-worthy. More importantly, I understand branding more than most and am passionate that strong, consistent branding is evident throughout my designs. I also realize the importance of being a good team player and can play with the best (and worst!) of them. My attitude is ‘can do.’ My work ethic is exceptional. My personality is easy to work with. Most of all, my desire to create designs that help make the phones and cash registers ring is second to none.

Graphic Design Manager
In this graphic design manager role, my main objective is to bring together in-house designers, freelancers and creative agencies to deliver a cohesive and on-brand message to more than 2 million Southwest Gas customers across Southern California, Nevada and Arizona. My main responsibility is to provide creative direction for customer facing and internal graphic, web, and video projects. It’s all hands-on deck at Southwest Gas, so in addition to my managerial duties, I spend a large portion of my time working on major creative projects for the executive branch. Some examples include, investor presentations, annual reports, sustainability reports, and the like.

Art Direction Manager
Managing has always been my passion. In my new role at IGT I provide creative direction to our global in-house creative design team. The vast majority of what I do is to oversee the design and production of all creative materials developed within our team. This includes, review and approval of all layouts, designs, graphics, and photography. Part of my role also includes, managing the team’s day-to-day workflow to assure that all business lines are supported accordingly. It is my responsibility to ensure that all agreed upon milestones and deadlines within a project’s lifecycle are being met and to prepare and present creative to clients, in a professional manner, to secure their approval. In lieu of that, I serve as a liaison between our team and our clients to streamline productivity and maximize workflow. I am very proud of my team so I proactively address their needs and foster personal development to ensure individual success and the success of the team.

Brand Designer and Content Producer
As one of IGT’s most seasoned designers, I produce collateral for all social media channels, internal communications, program ads, corporate events and tradeshows. I also provide presentation support for our senior executive team. My content includes but is not limited to videos, podcasts, corporate presentations, marketing collateral, infographics and photography. I work closely and equally well with both agency partners and in-house IGT design studios to share ideas, assets and resources. Most importantly, I am the guardian of the IGT brand and ensure that content adheres to brand guidelines and strategy.
