Astrid Luglio, born in Naples, lives and work in Milan as freelancer. After a degree in Product Design at NABA, New Academy of Fine Arts in Milan, she started collaborating with several design studios, first in Milan, and then in Melbourne, Australia, where she lived for one year. Back to Italy she has worked for Tourdefork, a design studio inspired by food and culinary culture. In 2018, she founded her own independent design studio and continues to work with clients in Milan, as well as Oslo and Naples.
Her projects are often inspired by food, its history and culture. She is also part of the designer collective The Ladies’ Room with Ilaria Bianchi, Agustina Bottoni e Sara Ricciardi, starting a reflection on contemporary design, through the creation of artifacts and experiences that investigate the renewed need for a sensory involvement.
