He spent the first 18 years of his career in the trenches of the ever-evolving world of digital advertising and marketing. While holding key leadership positions with top agencies he persuaded Fortune 500 companies like AT&T, Microsoft and Target to spend their marketing budgets creating innovative story-driven experiences for the web, mobile and social platforms.

Recognizing the growing need for more engaging and successful presentations in all areas of business, in 2013 he established Ashley Bright Presents to work exclusively on presentations. Through speaking engagements, mentorship and workshops he’s empowering future leaders, nonprofits and community organizations with skills and knowledge to amplify their voice and maximize their impact.

In my capacity as a "creative gun-for-hire" I partner with top notch agencies to create innovative solutions in branding, marketing, advertising and design for the digital space.

A few of the recent highlights include art direction and UI design for an ABC News iPad app, concept and design of new business materials that helped win a multimillion dollar project, and art directing the redesign of the Microsoft Surface web site, just in time for CES.

What's in the hopper? I'm currently working on some information graphics for a national retailer, brand identity and collateral materials for a non-profit start up, and the creation of brand strategy, look and feel and messaging for for a new hardware device.

Blast Radius is a strategic interactive agency focused on a new approach to marketing that advocates moving away from interruptive traditional marketing and toward strategies that engage and create open brands.

As Creative Director for the new Seattle office I am responsible for the continued satisfaction and growth of our client accounts for Microsoft, Pemco Insurance and Starbucks, as well as establishing relationships with new clients.

In addition, I'll be ensuring that Blast becomes a recognized and valuable addition to the northwest creative community.

Creative Director

As Creative Director I establish and maintain strategic vision on e-commerce, marketing and brand experience projects for clients such as Windows Mobile, Expedia, People to People, T-Mobile, Verizon and a wide variety of groups within Microsoft. In addition, I manage client expectations, deepen our existing relationships and seek opportunities to grow our accounts.

Internally I oversee a talented and growing team of creatives, that include Art Directors, Designers, Motion, Flash and Silverlight designers as well as writers, devs and a full production team. This allows me to provide career development for direct reports and foster a culture of design and creative excellence for the organization by hosting group discussions about best practices, encouraging collaboration across disciplines and to share innovative, award-winning industry work samples.

In addition I work closely with business development to validate new client opportunities to determine if they meet our growth goals, leverage our strengths and can be adequately staffed given available resources.

I provide leadership, career coaching and year-end reviews for the Creative and User Experience teams. I lead monthly training sessions intended to provide an overview of the creative discipline and our process to those outside the department.

Working closely with business development I validate new client opportunities to determine if they meet our growth goals, leverage our strengths and can be adequately staffed given available resources.

My participation in new business pitches has resulted in new client engagements with Cingular, Microsoft, Disney, Magnolia/Best Buy and TiVo. My role as a stabilizing force was critical as the group weathered personnel and process integration challenges following the aQuantive merger in 2004, changes to key leadership positions, and the most recent acquisition by Microsoft.
