Internally driven and self-taught acrylic artist from St. Catharines, Ontario. Born with severe hearing loss Shelley’s motto ‘I may be deaf but I hear colour’ is apparent in her vibrant pieces, wide range in subject matter and style. Collectors of Shelley’s art range from Dufferin County to the Golden Horseshoe as well as here in the Niagara Region. ‘It makes me happy every time I walk by it’, quote from one of Shelley’s collectors. The Greater Niagara Chamber of Commerce / NEXT Niagara chose Shelley’s work ‘Make a Wish’ for their 2017 Priceless Auction and just recently Shelley was one of twenty-five artists invited for a personal critique by acclaimed artist Robert Bateman.

I never know what will inspire me. I create a piece and it is my hope that someone will love it as much as I do. Read Less
