Aparato was founded in 2008, rapidly transforming into Uruguayans reference in VFX, Character Animation and Motion Design. The first two years worked under Fede Alvarez creative direction, since 2010 Ale Damiani took over the creative direction. Our distinctive visual style has come about through a shared passion for live action, motion graphics, visual effects and 2d/3d animation. As mixed media specialists skilled in animation, design, illustration, 3D, 2D and live action production, our directors takes a unique approach to each and every project. Aparato has obtained several international awards on realistic VFX. In Montevideo studio we have a permanent team of producers and creatives specializing in live action, motion graphics, 2d/3d animation, stop motion and visual effects. We also have a regular network of specialist freelancers that are pulled in depending on the nature of a project. Over the years, Aparato has worked in a permanent basis with production houses and agencies in Mexico, Colombia, Peru, Ecuador, Chile, Paraguay, United States, England, Spain and China with brands including Coca-Cola, Amex, Movistar, Pepsi, AMPM and Nestle.
