Anastasia Prosochkina

Tbilisi, Georgia
I am a concept artist with a passion for creating story-telling-driven art, whether it be keyframes, characters, backgrounds, or book illustrations. I am very good at generating new ideas and my architectural background helps to make these ideas real and solid, also I love to communicate with customers, as I get lots of inspiration from meeting new people. Also my associative thinking and empathy help to create the best visual of customers' ideas to both sides' delight.

So If you have a very distant feeling about the way your characters or environment should look, I can turn your feelings and emotions into actual ideas and sketches.
Or, vice versa, If you have a deep understanding of your future concept I am also here to visualize it.

So please, don’t hesitate to write me, I am always happy to talk about your ideas, and maybe we can work together on a new great project!

WHAT CAN I HELP YOU WITH?

I like to work both in the pre-production stage and with fully rendered illustrations.
If you are in the pre-production stage I am here to help you:

- by creating concepts for a new world for a game or animation (or story)
- if you need someone to brainstorm visually
- struggling with characters for your new project
- Searching for storytelling ideas for your project

Also if you need an illustrator to make fully rendered illustrations, I am here. I love to work on big projects, this way I can dive deep into the subject for the best result.

People often say that illustrators should have just one recognizable style and then work in this style one and only. I don’t agree with this statement. For me, art is the intention we put into it, the story behind it, and the beauty of the result, by which we solve the task so it serves the specific goal. The style and medium are just the mediums that you can master. This is why I see my large variety of styles as an advantage for me and my customers.

I sketch mostly in 2d, 3d is an additional skill (I am in love with Blender!)

More about me

I graduated as an architect. This education influenced me a lot, as it helped me to observe the world in many complicated and unexpected ways while learning a lot of theoretical and practical matters (from the medieval culture to video editing, from the hand-drawn rendering of classical architecture to managing a noisy group of creative architect students while trying to build a monstrous project made of paper.) While I was still a student, I worked on small 3d modeling projects for industrial maps and taught drawing courses.
However, I always wanted to be an artist. So as soon as I graduated, I left my home city for new work experiences. I’ve invented my sketching course that helped adult students learn Drawing 101, basically about how to sketch everything from scratch and get inspired.

At the same time I Illustrated a few audio tours around the globe (illustrations of locations for mobile app).

In 2016 I was strongly inspired by aerospace and space exploration. I wrote to the real astronaut, and he responded! After the tour around the spacecrafts and space museums made by a person, who actually has been to space, I got so inspired, that during 2016-2021 created more than thirty romantic paintings about space exploration. The canvases were exhibited in planetariums and space museums, often purchased by customers from the space industry. With the help of my manager Sergey Belov, I launched 3 successful crowdfunding projects "Space Calendar" with space paintings.

Also in my CV are various international drawing contests, and exhibitions in Germany, the Netherlands, Austria, and Georgia.
