Jacht Ad Lab
Designer
Jacht Ad Lab is an advertising and public relations agency run entirely by students. It is the first and only agency of its kind at the University of Nebraska - Lincoln. Jacht is made up of an ambitious team of talented creatives and account executives. We work with clients from various industries around the region to produce top-notch work. The experience of Jacht far surpasses any that can be gained in a traditional classroom. Jacht provides us with the perfect environment to collaborate, create, and grow.
During my time at Jacht, I have executed a full promotional campaign for the Lincoln Midwest Ballet Company, re-branded the corporate identity of Eagle Motorsports Inc., participated in internal creative reviews and concepting meetings, developed and pitched presentations of creative strategies to clients, developed and implemented guerrilla marketing tactics, gained valuable skills in time management and independent research, and collaborated with a team of creatives to develop a joint creative campaign.

UNL Women's Club Adirondack Auction
Lead Designer
The University of Nebraska - Lincoln Women's Club hosted a fundraising auction this spring in order to raise money for UNL student scholarships. The Women's Club fundraising chairs reached out to my design class at the University for help. In small teams, we developed logos, a slogan, and promotional pieces for the auction. We pitched these ideas to the committee, and a classmate and I were selected to execute our campaign.
I worked closely with individuals from the UNL Women's Club for the past year to complete a promotional campaign for their event. The event, "Take a Seat for the Night," featured Adirondack chairs painted by different colleges within the University. These chairs, as well as many other items, were auctioned off to raise money for scholarships. Promotional materials were distributed throughout the University and across the city of Lincoln.
In working with the UNL Women's Club, I gained valuable experience in developing an event logo and branding, completed a range of design collateral to promote the event, learned more about the process of printing and production, worked in close contact with the client and auction committee, and further developed professional communication and time management skills.
