For almost a year I was lucky to work with Metaform and be mentored by the wonderful and inspiring principal Susan Mavor and associate Scot Geib. Metaform does work ranging from print, publication and identity design to exhibit and web design for non-profit and cultural to more corporate clients.
Megaphone is a non-profit street-newspaper who‘s goal is to provide opportunities and a voice for socially excluded people while helping inform people in Vancouver about issues that affect their communities.
Creating a street paper for Vancouver was part of my graduating thesis project at Emily Carr University and I was lucky to become part of Vancouver‘s street paper, Street Corner, directly out of school and and make all of my studies and research a reality. During my time with Megaphone (previously Street Corner) I took the paper through a major re-design process and created a new identity which included everything from a new name, the logo, business cards, vendor id cards, information brochures and of course a complete overhaul of the newspaper.
