Senior Lecturer of Design
Teach graphic design studio at three levels, focusing on concept development, innovation case studies, and professional practices – plus teach typography at two levels, covering historical development, formal arrangements and approaches to complex hierarchies. Developed Design Theory course which reviews design history, with an emphasis on 20th century design innovations. Also chair the committee that organizes the design lectures for the dynamic Roski Talks series.
Art Director / Graphic Designer
Developed identities and applications for diverse initiatives. Clients have included Hillstone Restaurant Group, Janine Vigus Design Office, mcSquared, Orabor Creative, Rick Simner Design, Workbook, UCLA Extension Writer’s Program, USC Fisher Museum of Art, and the YMCA of Metropolitan Los Angeles. Also art directed from concept to execution, overseeing workflow, photo shoots, and press checks.

Attended University of Barcelona from January through June of 1992, focusing on Spanish art history, literature and philosophy. // Attended the Lawrence London program from September through December of 1993, focusing on medieval art and architecture of central London.
MA, Graphic Design
Worked for two years as a Teacher's Assistant in the BFA1 class. // Performed Alto Saxophone in multiple free-improvisational chamber groups.
