Digital Artist
Since leaving Sainsbury's in November 2020 I have been reskilling as a Digital Artist specifically learning Blender 3D and Unreal Engine (UE). I have gained experience in generating Low and High Poly Custom Meshes, UV unwrapping, Texturing, Rigging, Posing/ Animating, Exporting and Importing the assets to UE where I use the assets as part of game or in a cinematic render. My first complete game What Is The Noumenon? was premiered as a sub level to Aomame Space's: Doing Time on 20/05/2022

Customer and Trading Manager (CTM)
As part of a team of 3 CTM's and a Store Manager my day to day tasks included the opening, closing and safe running of a convenience store, managing staff and dealing with customers as well as completing all the operational and administrative tasks both at the front and back end. I used various tools and software packages to complete processes such as Stock Management, Cash Office, Pay Roll, Scheduling and Planning. Reason for leaving: I left the business to seek an alternative challenge and have been looking after our son during the periods his school was closed due to Covid-19.

As a colleague my day to day task at Sainsbury's was to manage the loading bay, taking in deliveries and redistributing the goods, ready for replenishing, looking after the service area and ensuring the safety of others. I was also certified as a trainer for different heavy machineries used in and around the service/loading bay including electric pallet trucks, dock levellers, scissor lifts and cardboard, polyethylene and general waste compactors. In addition, I was also in charge of making sure the correct paperwork and processes were followed to achieve 100% compliance. Reason for leaving: I left the position to take up a managerial position within the company.

Artist
As a self employed Artist, Collaborator and Curator I organised and showed nationally and internationally bringing together groups to work collaboratively or individuals to produce solo shows. This entailed a vast amount of research, travel, planning and negotiation as well as risk taking. I was accountable for the public funding granted to my projects as well making sure the right Public Liability was in place. During this period I also undertook workplace experience as an Assistant Lecturer for two years delivering the Level 5 Theory in Context and Level 5 Artists in Industry modules for the BA Fine Arts and Contemporary Cultures at Warwickshire College in Leamington Spa. I helped plan and deliver lessons, gave practical workshops, undertook one to one mentoring, marked work, and gave feedback. Reason for leaving: I ceased operating in the Creative Industries and I took up a position in Retail due a change in personal circumstances.

Whilst working at Party Design UK I oversaw projects from enquiry through to delivery. As Key Account Manager I had a portfolio of clients that I looked after as well as following up on leads and generating new business for the company. As Project Manager I managed the technicians and oversaw the installations of events in various types of venues. Reason for leaving: The owner closed the business in order to relocate abroad.

Production Consultant and Lead Technician
As Production Consultant at Theme Traders I supported the Project Managers in designing and realising the events they sold to clients. I would often accompany the Project Managers on site visits to meet with clients and discuss ideas and propose solutions. As Lead Technician I would manage crew of technicians on site to install the various elements of the event. I would also manage outside suppliers on site as well as liaising with the client and the Project Manager. To help promote the company’s products, I also photographed and retouched images of event stock and prepared the image files to be uploaded to the company website using Photoshop. Reason for leaving: I left the business to go traveling abroad.

As studio artist at Thomas and Wilson I had to translate architectural drawings of ornate enrichments into clay and then into plaster and finally create a production rubber mould for the workshop to make multiple editions. Reason for leaving: This was a contract based position that only lasted six months.

Working with Brett Muldoon we recreated an 18th Century wood block printed wall paper for a client in Chelsea, London; duplicating the elements of the wallpaper first as an outline and then filling it in with closely matched colours. Reason for leaving: This was a contract based position that only lasted two months.

Studio Manager
As Studio Manager I oversaw and managed a team of three artist plus a group of freelancers to produce bespoke elements for corporate events. In addition to managing the team, the role entailed creatively interpreting client briefs whilst managing a budget, designing new props, repairing broken props and accompanying the technicians on site to install specific elements created by the workshop. Reason for leaving: I left the business to relocate to the UK.

As part of the art department I constructed props to be used on set based on production meetings or on demand, as required. I used a variety of materials and techniques from poly carving, scrimming and air brushing/ painting to moulding and casting as well as creating foam and rod puppets. As props master I sourced and procured props from an analysis of the script. On other productions I would act as Standby Props on set, handling props as well as ensuring continuity between takes. Reason for leaving: I was offered a full time position to head up a studio.
