I started as a summer intern at GBP Wausau and after diving deep into the world of corrugated packaging I was asked to stay on until the new year. This branch of GBP hasn't had a graphics intern in the past, and I'm finding ways to make myself in-disposable in every step of production. I'm currently working on branding the internal packaging design studio, as well as file manipulation, creation and preparation for our new and current clients. Since I started I've also worked on maintaining and organizing a database of cutting die and printing plate records. I've also worked on the creation of packaging graphics in order to best use and conserve materials while still maintaining the desired look for the customer.

As of January 1st, 2013 I was asked to become the Graphics Coordinator and step into a whole new role, with new responsibilities and new challenges. I'm becoming more active in our marketing department, brainstorming and implementing a series of projects to send our to prospective clients in a "drip campaign". This will hopefully allow our salesmen to get appointments with businesses that previously wouldn't see Green Bay Packaging. I've also taken on creating training modules to help the team members of our entire division better understand the processes involved with every step of the box manufacturing process.

As I continue to take on new roles, and find new ways to help my division I am dedicated to learning and continuing my education process in any way possible.

As a signage designer in the Menards Distribution Center I was responsible for the manipulation of files to be printed, and the creation of new signs for the distribution center and the stores, as part of the advertisements and way finding systems. I worked fairly extensively with a large format printer/plotter to create everything from PVC banners to adhesive floor advertising.

As a server at Jakes I was responsible for seating, guests, taking orders, food and drink delivery and providing great conversation. After being promoted to bar tending I handled all aspects of customer service including food and drink preparation, cash handling and management duties. I also was responsible for the training of new bartenders and serving staff.
