Ana Sofia Batlle is a Dominican artist currently based in Chicago, IL who is in the progress of acquiring her bachelors degree in fine arts. To the date she has participated in many activities ranging from Design internships to multiple volunteer projects. She has had here work exhibited at the 28th Dominican Republic biennial at the ‘Museo de Arte Moderno’. Her work utilizes color and balance as guide to create beautiful images with an underlying message. She experiments with many mediums but mostly uses black ink to create patterns. Her main goal is to be an active part of the fast moving art world and to be able to produce artwork that emphasizes on increasing awareness of important world issues.
