I am part of a horizontal UX team supporting the Engineering Education org. Projects include:
* Supporting the Learning Management System that hosts CS First and Applied Digital Skills. This platform enables Google content creators to publish quality video lessons, and allows teachers & students to create a learning path and track their progress as they work through our curricula.
* Creating & enforcing best practices when designing products and programs for underserved learners.

Computer Science Teaching Fellow

I was part of a cohort hired with the goal of promoting CS education and making it universally accessible. In two years, we launched a successful product called CS First (cs-first.com), which is a free and engaging video-based curriculum that has reached over 55,000 students all over the world. My roles:
* Created UI designs and wrote front-end code for cs-first.com, a feature-rich site with over 60,000 users
* Designed fun and functional lesson materials, stickers, and publicity materials
* Wrote block-based coding curriculum and scripted, filmed, and edited instructional videos

Hobbies & Interests

* Amateur musician. I mainly play flute, but also a bit of piano, mellophone, and violin. I play principal flute in my community orchestra, and also run a flute choir.
* Gamer. I love games where I can play as part of a team! Currently, I help run a guild in Elder Scrolls Online and regularly lead raids. Previously, I've played Overwatch and participated in Zerowatch (Google's Overwatch tournament).
