As an alumnus of MIT, Amna takes a research approach to design. She is a concept extraordinaire, design anthropologist, tech whisperer and founder of Alloybuild. Her background as a designer, world traveler, entrepreneur, and urbanist with fluency in prototyping machines, puts her at the center of Alloybuild’s engine room. Her work has been exhibited in Washington DC, Rome, Milan, Venice and Boston, which centers on conceptual urban strategies for the future.

As a Project Designer in Shanghai, Houston and Boston, her portfolio of large-scale international architectural and planning projects, including industrial, commercial and public projects, contributed to a number of design awards

She holds a Masters of Architecture and Urbanism from Massachusetts Institute of Technology where her design background was steeped in her research in the field of science technology and society, and technopolitics. She currently teaches at Wentworth Institute of Technology. Read Less
