Work Experience
M.M.LaFleur
UX Designer
I was the owner of the user experience strategy for the M.M.LaFleur e-commerce website, with a focus on translating business goals into revenue-driving, responsive, and user-friendly designs. Projects worked on include the redesigns of product detail pages, internal stylist tools, checkout, a subscription survey, and much more.
- Communicated UX research and design strategy with Executive, Merchandising, Creative, and Brand teams to collect feedback and align priorities
- Worked with Growth and Retention development teams to ensure designs are feasible; continuously iterated on designs as engineers ran into roadblocks during development
- Led extensive research and user testing to redesign the company’s primary acquisition channel, a survey for curated clothing subscription boxes called Bento; increased conversion rates by 50% for mobile and 110% for desktop
- Collaborated with the Product Manager to redesign product detail pages (PDPs) for phased implementation, starting with a mobile-first redesign that increased add-to-cart rates by 16%
- Organized later phases of the PDP, including user reviews and text/image layout “stripes” that highlight product features and styling options; revenue per session increased by 21%
- Designed a more streamlined and intuitive checkout based on website analytics and e-commerce best practices, which increased revenue by 12% and completion rate by 9%
- Continuously scoped and designed for smaller projects, including referrals, navigation, filters, return forms, and an interface that allows users to add multiple items to their cart at once - which facilitated outfit shopping experiences that increased revenue by 18%
- Created a style guide to enable a consistent site experience, which included pairing down the existing styles to be ADA compliant and reusable for shorter design and development cycles

Ascensia Diabetes Care
Product Designer
I provided support to various project teams with expertise in user experience, UI design, and user testing. I used wireframing, personas, user flows, prototyping, and more to design the best experiences for people with diabetes and their care team.
Projects I worked on include mobile app designs, blood glucose meters, and user guides. I also led an evolution in the design team's documentation and process, which cut down development time and facilitated better communication.
