Alissa Terracciano

Illustrator, Writer

Detroit, MI, USA
Alissa M. Terracciano is an illustrator, writer, nerd, and makeup junkie with a penchant for bees and pastel things. She graduated from the College for Creative Studies in Detroit during the sunny May of 2014 with a BFA, majoring in illustration and minoring in game art. She not only draws inspiration from nerd and fandom culture, but also folklore, mythology, and fairy tales, with a heavy dollop of modern-day fashion. Delicate details, symbolism, and carefully composed color palettes are among her work’s specialties.

These days, Alissa runs her own online shop, Hunters & Angels, using Storenvy. She also does artist alleys at various conventions, as well as commissions. In addition to illustrating and writing, she has taken up crafting intricate articulated paper dolls. Whether what she’s working on is creepy, cute, a strange amalgamation of both, features a character focus or a full-blown environment, she aims to tell a story with a whimsical flair in a single image.
