I was born and raised in MAIDUGURI, northern NIGERIA. In 2001, my high school education began at ADESOYE COLLEGE OFFA in Kwara state. It was a six year BOARDING SCHOOL program in southern Nigeria.

I received my degree at the AMERICAN UNIVERSITY OF SHARJAH and enjoyed a STUDY ABROAD PROGRAM IN ITALY. My first short film “Cold Play” portrays themes such as Nigerian identity, concepts of guilt and redemption, modern crime and violence. Cold Play has been screened at the 65th CANNES FILM FESTIVAL in France. In 2012, I was honored with the SHEIKHA MANAL YOUNG ARTIST AWARD in the UAE and GCC. The two awards were in recognition of my work in multimedia and fine art. Furthermore, I have been previledged to exhibit more work at the 2013 ART DUBAI, 2014 DIFC ART NIGHTS, 2015 BIG PICTURE DUBAI and the 2016 FINE ARTS FESTIVAL in Ras Al Khaimah.
