I was a Painting and Drawing Instructor for the Adult Education Program at the San Francisco Art Institute from 2017 until the school's closure in 2022.

I have worked in the culinary field as a sous chef, line cook, caterer, and pastry assistant.

I received an MFA in Painting from the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design in Halifax in the year 2000. I returned to California to work as an Assistant Exhibit Coordinator at San Francisco's Randall Museum.

In 2007 I lived and worked at the Headlands Center for the Arts as the Program Intern, and also received culinary training in their kitchen.
