Alexandria Batchelor

Senior Graphic Designer

New York, NY, USA
I designated my design alias as Foxee based on the character Foxy Brown from the 1974 blaxploitation film. Played by Pam Grier, this role not only redefined black beauty, sexuality, and womanhood but symbolized female power that inspired all women to fight for themselves and what they believe in. This pseudonym embodies the scope of my work as an artist and designer. I try to redefine standards in the industry with art and design that represents minorities (primarily black women), respects other cultures, and builds safe communities for diverse minority audiences.
