Akke Functional Art is a modern furniture design company dedicated to exploring the dynamic between natural and industrial elements by incorporating both finished and live edge slabs of wood with metal, glass, and stone. Each piece is built to serve a practical purpose and add a unique element of modern design to both residential and commercial spaces. These are signature pieces designed to inspire and provoke.

Gallery 37 is located inside the Akkseum building in the historic, waterfront village of Northport, New York, on the North Shore of Long Island. In addition to selling both functional art — furniture and ceramics — and fine art — painting and sculpture, the space is a Showroom for the Fine, Interior Carpentry of Akke Woodworks. We're currently open Wednesday thru Sunday, from 12-6, and by appointment.
