Jeffery Fulton

graphic designer

Bowie, MD, USA
My artwork takes a minimal approach because as an advertising designer, I take pride in making compositions with as few elements as possible so that viewers are able to process the information or theme quickly. At the same time, I try to incorporate the deepest meaning possible. I believe in today’s society, information is processed by most and scrutinized by few. It is my hope that my artwork will allow the viewer to think more deeply about popular culture and its impact on our society.

As for materials, I primarily use computer applications. In the event that the piece does not feel authentic enough, I resort to traditional skill sets such as painting, photography, calligraphy and drawing. The subject matter of each body of work determines the materials I work with.

I draw my influences from artists such as Dana Tanamachi, Terry Richardson and Jordan Metcalf. I also draw inspiration from things that I see in everyday life such as architecture, streetwear and industrial design.
