A successful creative and brand builder with more than 25 years of experience in advertising and brand communications, leading creative teams at worldwide companies. Mr. Esteves has led high performing creativity and marketing teams in brand retail business, engagement and digital interaction, products and services launch, brand planning management and advertising campaigns. His most significant areas of expertise include strategic communications platforms, branding and crisis management, retail engagement, communication coaching and training for creative and marketing process. He has been responsible for communicational and advertising management of famous brands at local and regional level in Latin America like McDonald’s Corporation, Coca Cola, AT&T – Directv and many others.
Mr. Esteves has developed and implemented successful and awarded communication plans and led cross-functional creative teams for highly visible companies, in several leadership positions, including General Creative Director for Leo Burnett Venezuela, Chief Creative Officer for Fischer Grey Venezuela, CEO and President for Zurda Creative Factory which was the advertising agency in charge for McDonald’s Andean Region; Executive Creative Director of AW Saatchi & Saatchi in Venezuela, Partner and Creative Innovation Vice President for Concept McCann Caracas and Post-graduate Professor for Design and Creativity at Monteavila University.
Mr. Esteves’s creative management achievements include developing and implementing a regionwide kids program and management strategy for McDonald’s called Ja Ja Mundo, creating a unique retail platform, advertising, engagement with live experiences around the character Ronald McDonald and Public Relationship that generated increase in consumer visits and sales. He also created the global advertising campaign for McDonald’s as a sponsor of the FIFA World Cup Germany 2006 which was translated into multiple languages. Other significant achievements include: developing and implementing communication tools and processes like Influential Plans for Directv Venezuela, AT&T - Directv Puerto Rico, Digitel and others; create a multidisciplinary creative team called Innovation Unit that develops a dynamic approach of engagement with people -especially the millennials- called Digital Behavior Wheel.
Mr. Esteves has received multiple awards and recognitions including a Silver Medal in the New York Festival, Silver Medal at the Caribbean Festival, McDonald’s Worldwide Marketing Best Ad I Never Made Award, McDonald’s Worldwide Visits Increased Restaurant Award, McDonald’s Worldwide Best Kids and Family Program Award, 2013 Creative of the year P&M (Advertising & Marketing) Magazine.
