Handselecta is a font foundry and preservation project documenting graffiti as a form of contemporary calligraphy and transforming handwritten scripts into digital typefaces. Handselecta works alongside some of the most notable practitioners in the world of the aerosol arts. The Handselecta project is currently contracted for an art history book of American graffiti to be released with Gingko Press.

Adnauseum is a boutique design and strategic creative consultancy specializing in design and branding solutions for consumer brands. There is a stress on the strategic approach of designing product with a close relationship to the brands core identity, linked with marketing goals and efforts. Select clients include: Obey Clothing, Complex Magazine, Nike, Under Armour, Zoo York, Ecko, Marc Ecko Collection, Avirex, Tapout, 5 Boro Skateboards, Upper Playground, R/GA, Oxford University Press, and The New York Times. The buck starts and stops here, Mr. Everything, from planning and proposals to designing and budgets, Not uncommon to be handling as many as 3-6 clients and up to 6 freelancers at one time.
Associate Creative Director
Taught classes Experimental Typography, Digital Design (Adobe Creative Suite) Presentation, and Design for Communication. Students ranged in age from High School students in a summer program to Juniors and Seniors in the BFA and AAS programs.
Sr Art Director
During nearly 6 years at Zoo York annual sales grew from $5M to over $30M. Printable graphic garments made up 60-70% of that business. Responsible for the design and execution of graphics for mens garment line, SMU’s, premium tier and in-line, from concept to development. Responsibilities include management of a team of half dozen designers (both graphic and fashion), seasonal research and development of creative themes and direction, art direction and written creative briefs for junior and freelance designers and illustrators. Manage and spend a freelance budget of $100,000 on an annual basis. Spearheaded the guest artist collaborations program, utilizing relationships with the arts and graffiti community, creating marketing friendly product projects.
Became Art Director in charge of and responsible for the design and execution of prinatables and graphics for Special-Make-Up Accounts, including Pac Sun and Zumiez. Would often travel to meet with buyers and present the line, had monthly direct contact with buyers, often teleconferencing feedback from design submittals to hone our business. Became resonsiple for the pre-production and factory correspondence up to the Salesman Sampling stages, traveled to factory faciilities in central and South America.
Sr Graphic Designer
Responsible for ads and catalogs, design and execution of tee graphics - from concept to development of the mens garment line. Responsibilities include seasonal research and development of creative themes and direction.
Established Adnauseum to procure freelance work
Graphic design of logos and identity systems for professional and collegiate athletics programs. While in this position I worked on the identities of accounts such as: Adidas/2006 FIFA World Cup Germany, University of Pennsylvania Athletics, New York Rangers, and various projects for the United States Olympic Committee.
Freelance Graphic Designer
Typographer, responsible for designing logos for television shows and cable networks. ie: History Channel en Español, Design Cents, clients included Court TV, HGTV, and more.
