This was the first job I took after finishing my Part I in Architecture. The job was a collaboration organised by UAL for a recent graduate to work in Beijing for three months helping to design a space in which Chinese students could go to learn about life in London. The intention was to help potential students from China to understand better the diversity and culture of London life. It was great experience for my first job to be put in charge of a team of three people to work alongside a team of CHinese students in helping to design and create this cultural centre.

Whilst doing my Part I in Architecture at Central St Martins I decided to actively look for some work experience that I could be involved in during the Easter and Summer holidays. I met John coincidently having been a huge admirer of his work since my interest in architecture began. I was very fortunate in that he offered me work experience which has made a great contribution to my path through my studies regarding experience and expectation of the role of the architect in practice.

Throughout my duration of Architectural eduction I have been working on a number of Freelance projects predominately in relation to domestic and residential design proposals for private clients. Ranging from single room redevelopment to large scale extensions and entire re-development of existing spaces.
