-Administers the website within the Wordpress Content Management System, including producing and advising staff on content, technical troubleshooting, managing information architecture, template creation, design updates, and any maintenance required to optimize site performance
-Ensures website content is accurate and updated in a timely fashion
-Leads website design and redesign projects, bringing in additional vendors if necessary
-Serves as the college’s contact with CMS and web hosting providers, as well as other web-related vendors
-Provides group and individual web training for campus staff and faculty and proactively works with departments to assure the website meets their needs.
-Collaborates with college staff, faculty, and administrators to plan, create and enhance their web site content/web presence. Serves as their “point of contact” for issues relating to web design or development, message strategy and content creation
-Optimizes written and visual content for the web for maximum performance and cognitive fluency and advises staff on the specific requirements of strong web content
-Supports marketing initiatives by creating and contributing to email campaigns, social media strategy, web-based magazines, web video production, and e-newsletters.
-Works effectively and collaboratively with the Marketing Director, Marketing team, and IT staff in administering the website.
-Complies with Marketing department standards, policies, and procedures.
-Evaluates, recommends, and integrates associated new technologies as needed.
-Attends meetings and serves on committees as needed.
-Directs student employee work in Marketing; provides guidance on identifying/creating compelling content
