I’m passionate about dynamic imagery that compels the eye to pay attention, about tangible hand-crafted and beautiful prints that demonstrate acute care and about drawings that convey complex human emotions. I have an infinity with letters that sees me enjoying Typography and Hand lettering in equal measure.
My interest in all things creative has led me on a journey to studying a degree in Graphic Design and Illustration. My love for the digital design world and my excitement for hand-made illustrations gives me a unique mixed media approach to my work.
Along the way I have stopped off at Photography, Newsletter designing, Life drawing, Hand-made greeting cards, Painting acrylic on canvas, using Photoshop for digital screen printing, observational location-based drawing, interpretative art from music, blogging.
More recently I have art worked flyers, brochures, team sheets, and other tender documents to external clients, whilst working for the Design Team at Eversheds LLP in Leeds.

Promotions Artworker
Producing promotional packs for the client. I work in InDesign to lay-out the pages in the required format for each of the four divisions, knowing the nuances and intricacies of each promotional pack. I work daily with various departments within the client's company to ensure the most up-to-date information and imagery is listed in the packs and that the brand is up-held throughout.

Art worker and Design Team Coordinator
Assisting a small design team in the delivery of client-facing documents to colleagues throughout Evershed’s global offices.
• Implement text-based design amendments in InDesign and making photographic enhancements in Photoshop.
• Art working brand compliant documents by placing copy text and imagery into design frameworks in InDesign.
• Liaising with requesters on the design process; obtaining a design brief, educating on the design stages and expanding upon the Eversheds’ brand requirements for client facing documents.
• Manning a busy email inbox in MS Outlook and acting as first point of call for design requests and incoming queries.
• Maintaining a live workload spreadsheet in Microsoft Excel for five designers and interacting with the designer on their individual workload, to ensure their daily capacity is not exceeded and that any outstanding text copy for a job is acquired from the requester.

Freelance Illustrator
Hand drawing illustrations and greetings cards to sell locally in two art and craft shops in Leeds. Themes such as locally found birds or wildlife have been used across these formats, and accompanied with hand-lettering. I've used repeating, geometric patterns within a realistic outline of an object to create a unique look.
