I love vintage posters -- their bold colors, their striking text, their classic designs, and their simple imagery. When I look at a vintage poster, it's as though I'm looking through a window, seeing the world as it once was. Vintage posters show what it meant to live a century ago, but they also show what it means to live today--they're part of our collective history, our collective culture, and our collective consciousness.

I work with posters that are in the public domain. It's my goal to restore them to their original glory. Many of these posters were originally designed over a hundred years ago, and all are at least sixty-five years old. They show their age. I edit out blemishes and marks, I correct fading and color loss, I alter alignment and borders. I present a fresh and new version of a faded, imperfect work. I think you'll like the result.

Some of the posters promote healthy living. Some focus on travel and tourism. Some encourage viewers to attend a play, an exhibition, or a community event. But all provide a glimpse into life during a simpler time. Though the plays, concerts, and events described by these posters are gone, the posters themselves live on. They're true Americana, and I love sharing them with others. Enjoy! Read Less
