Right now, I’m sitting in one of London’s stunning cabaret venues Cafe De Paris, which also happens to be the very same establishment where I started my career as a photographer in 2009. Looking around at the theatrical splendour of the gold velvet-lined double staircase and the ornate vintage chandeliers casting their soft light upon the crowd that would excite the likes of Rembrandt himself, its really no surprise that I fell in love with the burlesque and cabaret scene. Combining my three passions – decadent architecture, fashion and the female form – it would be fair to say that becoming a photographer was less of a conscious choice and more of a natural calling. Taking inspiration from film noir, fairy tales and paintings by the old masters, my work is heavily influenced by a love of storytelling with underlying narratives running throughout my personal projects, editorial work and commercial campaigns.
During the last four years I have worked hard to expand my business. My signature style has evolved throughout this time to lend an element of vintage glamour and grandeur to the world of contemporary fashion. It has been a privilege to work with clients from all over the world – some of whom are listed below. I also consider it a great honour to have been granted the status of Wacom Influencer and Adobe Community Professional, acknowledging my work both as a professional photographer and an active voice within the creative communities.
