Assigns tasks to Graphic Artists • Decides on the printing schedule to be followed • Coordinates with the printing production team • Reviews and assess all submitted layout designs of the Graphic Artists • Provides criticisms and suggestions for layout improvements if seems necessary • Coordinates with the editorial department regarding the schedule and parts of the magazine that are needed to layout • Does art direction during photoshoots whenever own peg is chosen, but in other cases, generally assists and guides Graphic Artists in directing the photoshoot • Organizes all the ad materials that the Sales Department provides • Does editorial layouts for different sections of the magazine • Create artworks if necessary for a layout • Create design materials for the Sales department such as advertorials • Cover media events
