The problem with choosing files to back up is that it is hard to keep up with the new files that are always being created and the modifications to existing files. The most effective solution to choosing files will always be an automated process that takes little effort. Cloud storage companies offer two different approaches.

There are many different reasons you might want to share files with others and cloud services are now the easiest way to do this. Sharing files in the cloud is particularly effective for image files. It allows far flung friends and family members to conveniently view your photos and provides a secure place to store the kind of files which are truly irreplaceable.

It is probably wisest to stick with one cloud storage service. But there are usually limits to how much space you are allowed for individual cloud storage plans, and image files can take up a lot of space. So you may want to consider using one of the alternatives available specifically for photos.
