Welcome to The Autonomy Project, the pseudonym of British Designer & Director AJ Pugh, currently living in London. Focused primarily on Art Direction for Brand, Digital & Experiential campaigns, with a strong background in conceptual design. His work has most recently earned recognition in Creative Review and the Computer Arts blog Creative Bloq.

With a multi-disciplined approach to projects, specialising in branding, digital & motion design. Previous projects cover a broad cross-section of design, encompassing the Television, Advertising, Print, Web, Mobile & Music Industries.

Ranging from full identity and animation work on the London 2012 Games, Queen's Message, and 60 Second Economist. To title sequences, digital development and documentary work. Appearing on Sky Arts, Sky News, BBC, ITV and advertising boards in and around London. Recent projects include brand & user experience development for Sky, brand strategy for an expanding Australian finance firm, and asset development for a UK Experience based training enterprise. The working day is only every an exciting place to be.

Prominent strengths lay in shot selection, sequencing, identity development, conceptual development, audio choice and re-edits. Inspiration comes from current industry leaders and creative pieces made through similar genres of production, music, movies, art and architecture.

I take huge pride in my work and put everything I have into each project, be it solo or as a collaboration, I hope the passion for what I love shines through in the output. Read Less
