CiN Weekly

Staff Photographer

As the only photographer for a very busy arts and lifestyle weekly I undertook a large variety of very diverse assignments, shooting everything from tabletop products to high fashion with a whole lot of events, environmental portraiture, food and human interest stories in between. My responsibilities included producing about 90% of the photographic content for the full color paper, toning and otherwise preparing the work for print, contacting and maintaining a relationship with freelancers and meeting extreme to insanely tight deadlines on a regular basis. I worked closely with writers and page designers and even wrote a few stories myself as well as shooting video for on-line content. I also built countless on-line galleries of the local scene events our freelancers were shooting as well as extended galleries of my own work from the weekly cover stories we produced.
