Brand Designer

Brandbeat is the branding consultancy of Middle East Communication Network (MCN), the largest communications network of the MENA region. Best known for the award-winning identity of Burj al Arab, Brandbeat created most of the leading brands in the middle east in hospitality, banking, consumer goods and telecommunication.

Moutaz Joined Brandbeat as brand designer, his role was to generate ideas and bring innovative thinking to the table, his understanding to the problems bring in a creative energy and insight. He thrive as part of the team whilst desiring personal responsibility to own part of the program and move it forward to be able to develop quality design solutions by thinking broader, beyond just the ideas to understand the bigger picture and the various components that contribute to it. He always pride himself on solving problems, as well as making something look good.

His sympathetic understanding of the cultural nuances in the region adds a texture to the work that can very easily be ignored by western-based companies. he has applied his local knowledge and understanding to many of brandbeat branding projects. Moutaz has been instrumental in creating and implementing the majority of Islamic financial institutions that have been created by Brandbeat.

Beside creating design solutions, his role was to test and implement the ideas across a wide range of applications, creating brand expression, which leads on to generating the brand guidelines. Also heading up the creation of all Arabic and bilingual materials that fall under the scope of the particular project.

Moutaz has worked with Brandbeat clients including Bank Albilad (KSA), European Finance House (London), Gulf Finance House (Bahrain), Qatar Islamic Bank (Qatar), QInvest (Qatar), Tasaheel NCB (KSA), hello Mobile Communication Network (Uganda).

Adworx Advertising & Communication Network

Graphic Designer

Adworx – Dubai is a regional advertising agency in the middle east, a multi discipline design agency, focused on providing the governmental sector in the UAE.

As a graphic designer, Moutaz was responsible for generating ideas and creating the design solutions for Adworx clients, the projects varies from BTL materials to packaging, promotional materials and advertising campaign. He worked side by side with the creative director and the project manager to understand the requirements of the project, scope of work and the communication objective.

Moutaz has worked with Adwox clients including Dubai government, Philips, Hyundai, BP, Loreal, Moneygram, Datel, Orbit, DIFC, Alphamed and Natural Made.

Adworx Advertising & Communication Network

Graphic Designer

As fresh graduate, Moutaz joined Adworx – Amman, a multi discipline advertising agency, to start his career as graphic designer. His responsibility was to support the art director with the graphic execution and implementation of the designs for different applications, he was a great example for a fresh mind putting his contribution in action to deliver valuable result.

After a successful year with Adworx – Amman, Moutaz was asked to join the very fast growing Adworx office in Dubai, to support the creative team there, enriching their work with his fresh perspective to things.
