My primary responsibilities in this position include developing relevant content, creating the layout and overseeing the technical production of the of the two print and two digital issues of the publication, including all supporting marketing materials. It is my responsibility to create and maintain a visual identity for the publication that showcases the University and appropriately communicates its news and branding messages to a large (120,000+) and diverse audience. In addition, I select and provide direction to freelancer photographers and illustrators while maintaining a budget.

In this role I design, produce, and provide art direction on a variety of print and digital marketing pieces for University Advancement. In addition, I provide professional expertise in maintaining a consistent visual identity for University Advancement and provide support and assistance in the department’s visual communication needs. Examples of work produced include; the Ohio University Foundation annual report, The Promise Lives Campaign proposal booklets, donor proposals, and preparing art for online use.

As Art Director and Designer of this bimonthly magazine sold throughout Mexico, my primary responsibilities included developing and maintaining the visual identity of the publication, creating the layout of the magazine and preparing the files for print. In addition, I had the opportunity to conceptualize and execute editorial collaborations with top-level advertisers and companies including; Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Mont Blanc, and Rolex.
