Quickly assimilating the product knowledge and sales training, I developed to the level where I consistently achieve and beat my targets. I enjoy helping customers find the products they need and get satisfaction from doing so.

I am also training in the tailoring department and do the alterations and customisations on both men's and women's jeans.

I worked in a small studio developing and manufacturing products including jeans, jackets, and accessories. I worked on pattern cutting and grading (manually), and improving production processes.

I am doing my 100 hour work placement at Libby London as a studio assistant. I help with checking samples, mending garments, processing and sending orders, answering the phone, taking deliveries, design work, pattern cutting, factory visits and assisting with fittings.

I am really enjoying my work placement and learning a lot. I feel that my experience here consolidates what I have learnt so far individually and at university, and that it will be invaluable in the future. I am also lucky to have found a placement with a great boss.

Working at Lambretta I mde it my focus to provide an enjoyable shopping experience for customers by being cheerful and friendly, and helping in any way I can.

As part of the team, I helped with promoting the shop on social media and we became one of the company's top performing stores, consistently exceeding sales targets.

Graduating with a High First and an award from the Merchant Taylors' Guild, over the course of the degree I developed skills with an aim to being a pattern cutter. I worked to produce the most professional products possible and am eager to put these skills to good use.

In September 2013 I began a BTEC L3 Fashion and Clothing Course, but within two weeks I moved up to Degree level. I enjoyed working with my friends and I am achieved good grades. My highest grade was 96% and I was awarded Student of the Year.
