Stephanie Brown

Illustrator / Graphic Designer

Spring Hill, TN, USA
I graduated Summa Cum Laude with a BFA in illustration from Laguna College of Art and Design in Laguna Beach, CA where I received solid training in digital and traditional mediums. Capable of using a diverse set of skills and techniques, which are chosen based off of the story being told, I specialize in my rendering ability and attention to detail. All of my illustrations are expressive, colorful and dynamic while focussing on telling a story, whether I directly illustrate a scene in a book or make subtle color and shape choices to make an emotionless tugboat appear "happy".

Work Experience

Investbook.us

Illustrator/Graphic Designer

I was commissioned by Investbook.us to create a landing page containing a tugboat and plane with banners at the beach. The requested style had to be "happy", fun, and simple while still being colorful. Each component has also been broken up into individual, scalable .png or .evs files that can be used on the website. The website itself has not gone live yet, so I cannot release the weblink at this point in time.

Client

Illustrator

I was commissioned to create an illustration for a client involving animals in a forest that would be fun, bright, and colorful. In the end, we decided on a story that considers wolf pups who are just learning how to howl and how their wolf parents might react to the off-key singing. In this painting, I wanted to focus on making the wolves cute and expressive while still rendering them realistically.
