Rui Grazina is an architect, product and furniture designer.

Rui Grazina has produced a range of furniture and products exhibited namely at 100% Design, in London; FAD, in Barcelona; Remade in Portugal and Design+, in Lisbon. Jewellery box RG02 won the design competition for the Berardo Modern Art Museum Design Shop, in Lisbon.

In November 2010 Rui presented his work at Rio de Janeiro Design Week, and exhibited at Talents Ambiente, Frankfurt in February 2011. He participated in Remade em Portugal 2012, in Porto. In December 2012 his book “A cube in twelve parts” was published in Portugal, with worldwide digital edition set for 2014. Lauched RG08 in the 2013 edition of Remade em Portugal, in Porto.

PLYWOOL (RG09) is a collaboration with American designer Andrea Panico (Pico Litlle Architecture) and was launched in November 2013 (picomeanslittle.com).
WITHIN (RG14) was released at the end of 2013, as a collaboration with photographer Fernando Guerra. This is an exclusive series from A+A Bookshop in Lisbon, which aims to promote Portuguese contemporary architecture.

He was one of the invited designers for the Art on Chairs 2014 project. The work was exhibited at the Beijing Design Week. In October 2014 he won the Lisbon Design Show with a silverware set for Portuguese brand Topázio.

In January he presented RG19 as part of Remade in Portugal, at Fundação EDP Art, in Porto, and will be represented at a Portuguese design retrospective (1980-2014) at MUDE, Museum of Fashion and Design, in Lisbon.

Rui is represented is stores in Portugal, Germany, England and Brazil, and his pieces sold worldwide.
Rui worked as an architect on a wide range of projects in London and Porto. He has a diploma in Architecture from the University of Porto School of Architecture. He completed his education at the Faculty of Architecture, University of Porto. Born in Maputo, Mozambique. Read Less
