I'm a seasoned graphic designer who melds effortlessly into any environment. I'm proficient in MAC and PC environments with heavy emphasis in InDesign, Illustrator, Acrobat, and Photoshop.
I work well independently and I enjoy working with a team. I have a strong foundation in print production and communicating with print vendors. Graphic design and architectural renderings (Marketing pieces, floorplans, 3-D programs) for 18 product lines in numerous plants, nationwide. I use Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat, and Photoshop daily. I have created thousands of floorplans in Chief Architect and I build homes in SketchUp to ready them for rendering in 3Ds Max. I train all incoming artists, in addition to creating/editing/designing all training manuals for Cavco's local engineers and our nationwide production plants. * Web banners, trade show material, product packaging, brochures, magazine ads, posters, retail counter displays / POP, display labels, die lines, retail product cards, ads for several trade magazines, and sales fliers -- all for Pentel of America, Inc. I designed the blister packs for Sam's Club and a new logo for Pentel's "budget-friendly" Pilot pencil.

* Stage backdrop for the Disney Grand Ballroom
* Catalogs for Office Star Products Manufacturing
* Product photography and trade show catalogs for Chen Yun Wu Tools
* Trade show attendance, created 8'x4' backdrop, magazine ads, and other marketing material for Alcoa Fastening Systems (This backdrop directly resulted in the securing of an $800K annual contract.)
* Designed and coordinated three books for Walter's Speakers Bureau. Created promotional items for nine authors with each book.

Working in a fast-paced environment where speed and accuracy were required, I worked my way up through several job titles and departments including automotive & real estate ad builder, pagination, direct mail graphic design, and magazine artist. Weekend supervision, employee interviews, and training. In the last three years with this company, as our company transitioned to outsourcing all newsprint graphics to a studio in India, I was the sole artist who remained and I was the coordinator/liaison between our 45 sales reps and our production plant in India. I created the editorial content for three newspapers' Home Improvement sections and I coordinated all ad flow for the quarterly magazines for the Inland Custom Publishing Dept.

In addition, I was in charge of the layout, header graphics, and editorial for the new Home Improvement sections for 9 newspapers. I designed specs, utilized FTP/Box to share my automotive ads with the L.A. Times, created a new art filing system for our department, and "finaled" our most expensive ads (standard-size, 14x21 automotive/real estate ads) to press. I maintained constant deadlines, with multiple projects simultaneously.
* I diffused a situation between a large automotive sales manager and our studio in India which reinforced their trust -- and ultimately kept his $180K annual advertising dollars with SCNG.
* Ability to think ahead, application of guidelines, and the proven ability to multi-task, resulting in being named Employee of the Year in 2011.
* Implemented a new artwork filing system, decreasing redundancy by 20%.
