Based at Fort Sam in Houston, Texas, Robert Rendon currently serves as a senior advisor for the United States Army, a position he has held since 2009. In this role, he functions as principle advisor for counterintelligence and human intelligence matters. During his tenure, he has supervised eight force protection detachments in Latin America. Robert Rendon joined the army in 1976 and became a warrant officer in the Military Intelligence Corps in 1984. During this time, he earned a bachelor of science and completed the U.S. Army Advanced Counterintelligence training course and the Military Operations training course. Over the years, he also underwent training at the Defense Language Institute and completed the Intelligence Community Officer Course and the National Senior Intelligence Course.

Throughout his military career, Robert Rendon served tours as a special agent with both the Department of the Army Special Operations at the Pentagon and the White Sands Missile Range in New Mexico. His military decorations include the Overseas Service Ribbon and the National Defense Service Medal. Read Less
