• Industrial design, development and marketing.
• Responsible for interface between rigid mechanical device and squishy human.
• Along with co-designer, responsible for overall look of Harvester.
• Designed and developed two generations of flexible subshells, elastic strapping and custom buckles, with current generation going into field
testing by US Army/Marines and Canadian Forces summer 2017.
• Designed entire lower half of current generation Harvester, transitioning earlier SLS parts into lighter weight carbon fibre with multiple
inserts.
• Determined product sizing and adjustability requirements using 2D and 3D anthropometrics data.
• Responsible for testing for fit and power generation.
• 3D CAD, documentation, fitting instructions, prototyping.
• Responsible for marketing efforts including social media, photoshoots, brochures, trade show booths, and client visits.

• Expanded product line from 2 footbeds to 10 footbeds, socks, and seasonal footwear.
• Sales revenue increased 500% during my tenure.

• Managed the design and development team (including overseas developers).
• Oversaw design, development, sourcing, and production for products, displays and packaging.
• In charge of development and production timelines.

• Fielded technical questions from press, sales reps, retailers, and internal customer service.
• Researched new materials and developed products, packaging, merchandising utilizing most sustainable methods/materials. First company in NA to use PLA (polylactic acid from corn) for non-food-related packaging. Worked with Outdoor Industry Association's Eco Working Group and the Sustainable Apparel Coalition.
• Oversaw development and use of IP. Obtained 2 US patents (3rd pending) and numerous US, Canadian and international trademarks.
• Created and maintained CE Class 1 Medical Device files, allowing company to make medical claims in Europe.
• Copy writer and editor: Edited all of company's copy. Wrote copy for web, marketing items, packaging.
• Ideated, wrote copy, and set schedules for seasonal design of marketing materials, such as ads, brochures, feature and benefit sheets, web site, etc.
• Designed trade show booths and sourced vendors. Oversaw install and takedown of largest shows attended annually – Outdoor Retailer Winter and Summer.

Operations Manager

• Cork collection increased from 9 million corks in 3 years when SOLE took over the program, to 30 million in the subsequent 2.5 years.
• Instrumental in creation of ReCORK website, marketing materials and overall plan.
• Managed design of and wrote majority of copy for consumer and business partner-facing website.
• Managed design of all marketing material and part of team for ideation of all materials.
• Managed inventory count of incoming and outgoing cork (around 40million recycled corks).
• Key part of turning ReCORK corks into future footwear platforms, launching Fall 2013.
