Rene Boisvert, a committed philanthropist with extensive marketing and business development experience, established a not-for-profit group that deploys for-profit revenue generation strategies to fight poverty throughout the United States. Called Taking it to the Streets, the charity develops marketing campaigns specifically to encourage fundraising for causes like shelter, food programs, and healthcare access. Before founding Taking it to the Streets, Rene Boisvert gained hands-on non-profit experience while board advisor to the Alta Alliance Bank and the Philanthropic Ventures Foundation.

Rene Boisvert studied in the graduate program at the Indiana University Center of Philanthropy. While there, he earned certification in fund raising management. Earlier, he secured his bachelor of arts in political science from the University of California, Berkeley.

In his private life, Mr. Boisvert enjoys spending quality time with family and friends, as well as, giving directly to those in need. During the holiday season, he often dresses up as Santa Claus to bring joy to children from financially insecure families. Read Less
