Phi.Studio

Art Director and Designer for Print, Motion + Digital

Provided creative design solutions for an eclectic range of brands; with Agency and In-house experience in Print, Online and Moving Image. I honed my skills as a freelance multi-disciplinary Designer with a keen eye for detail and a passion for well crafted execution. Above all I worked under the premise that good design is about problem solving; understanding and interpreting the needs of the client to effectively target their audience. A lot of my time was spent as a Brand Guardian, ensuring the essence of a company or organisation was successfully communicated across multiple touch points and media. Working directly with clients, I undertook projects from concept to fruition, collaborating with Creative Directors and Producers as well as directing Designers and Animators whilst organising budgets and effectively steering projects to completion.

Integrated Art Director for Print, Motion + Digital

It was a privilege to work with this award winning team; structured more like a traditional design agency than your typical in-house crew. Reporting to the Creative Director and Head of Art Direction, my duties and responsibilities included creating conceptual solutions in response to briefs and executing across all relevant channels through to delivery. This included but was not limited to direction of photo and animation shoots, creation and execution of advertising campaigns, spatial design for events and identity development.

I also facilitated the development of the brand identity and guidelines and ensured the brand was applied consistently across campaigns and channels, keeping up to date with trends and culture that may influence the brand and was aware of competitors activity. I also presented concepts to stakeholders, ensuring they were engaged in the idea and the outcomes of the project, clearly articulating how a creative solution meets the challenges of the brief.

I ensured concepts were created and delivered within scope of the project schedule and budget constraints, whilst guiding and approving work from designers and shoot teams; providing leadership and supporting their growth.
