My current position of digital project manager encompasses a wide range of responsibilities from project initiation, wireframing, design and budgets through to delivery.

Generally I am responsible for scoping the technical requirements of any digital project, whether it’s a website, email marketing campaign or other such digital based projects with the selected client and server side programmers and designers. I plan the IA of a site, including the wire framing process before managing the design and build phases of projects with our team ensuring that all is completed within budget and to agreed timescales.

Responsibilities include taking the brief and developing the design of the site using psd’s. This also encompasses producing sitemaps and wireframes, exploring useability, information architecture and researching emerging technology or apps. that we can utilise. I’m also adept at quoting and liaising with the programmers including creating a ‘build document’ that is then given to the programming team which lays out all functionality and actions required on the site build.

Responsibilities include conceptualisating designs over a wide range of media, including advertising, corporate identity, food packaging and the web. Supervising the production of the artwork by our in-house artworking team. Keeping track of project budgets, resolving any issues with artworkers and liaising with clients and suppliers. Commissioning photographers and illustrators and recommending new software/hardware for the
studio.
