I earn my living as a professor of 3d modeling and animation at Santa Ana Community College, CA. I love my job because I enjoy teaching others how to create using this amazing form of art, and I love researching. In my soul, I am an artist/educator/marketer/entrepreneur and my deepest interest is digital 3d arts and interactivity. Lately, I've learned Unity3D and I'm fascinated with the multitude of possibilities this form of media beholds. Before teaching full time I worked in print and online advertising, and 3d graphics production, mostly in my own companies. Over the years I have discovered that I possess a respectable level of aptitude in the areas of marketing, writing, graphic arts, illustration, promotion, sales, business and chutzpa. As the co-creator of The Ceramics Studio in San Juan Capistrano, CA (founded 11/11/11 at 11am), I was responsible for formulating an overall marketing strategy for the new business. Developing the look and feel of the entire business involved working out the studio's interior design, business collateral, illustrating the mascot, producing the website with all of the graphics and copy writing and making sure it was "search engine optimized". I was also responsible for creating initial alliances with the local community organizations. The Ceramics Studio is now three years old (A toddler with a growing "life of its own"), and I can now relinquish a lot of my former responsibilities to the other owner and staff, enabling me to venture into other new frontiers. In this next chapter, I plan on spending my "flex" time incorporating my 3d art into interactive worlds! Read Less
