I photograph to provide art that evokes emotion. Some emotion is a result of art, some of the image reality and some of the image compassion. My technique has been developed over 30 years of study in both science and art. See my Artist Statement on my web site: http://outdoorimages.prosite.com.

Other Notable Information

I have written two books that focused on a specific web gallery designed for Lightroom and how to use the gallery to setup a photography store. While these are no longer in print, I am working on several volumes in a series titled "Film Technique in the Digital World."

I have also had works auctioned for charity including my latest, 2012, a black and white image of Half-Dome in Yosemite for the Habitat for Humanity of York County, South Carolina.
