As Digital content assistant I work with the EDP and Norwich Evening News websites. I am part of a digital team who's job it is to not only draw more traffic to the sites but also to give the viewers a more interactive experience. Something they can't get from newspapers.

As well as assisting journalists with content for the site I have taken a side role of Graphic designer for the websites. Although I haven't been working at Archant that long, already a lot of my designs can be seen on the webpages. From designing banners, info-graphics for stories and even designing webpages for events.

Working in a news room can be a fast-pased environment but it has been a great experience, not only do I get to work with a great team on sometimes very sharp deadlines but I have already starting developing my design skills to fit different styles of stories and events.

Work experience, focusing on company websites and logos. Had a great time working with a great team developing ideas and creating concepts the team then used.

Received a 1st Class for my BA Honours.
