Personal description

Mikolaj is educated in architecture at both Poznan University of Technology and Cracow Institute of Architecture. Mikolaj obtained RIBA Part II Master of Science in Architecture degree in 2012. He is creative specialising in advanced geometry modeling, visualisation, scripting and digital fabrication. Mikolaj specialises in creating new architectural forms using digital techniques within a contex of historical building bodies.

Currently Working for LAVA (Laboratory for Visionary Architecture).Previously Mikolaj worked for Berlin’s top and emerging architecture studio Henn Studio B, as well as smaller firms like magma architecture, Hackenbroich Architekten, anOther Architect.

Mikolaj took part in several workshops, such as Object Oriented Eclecticism in Ghent,Parametric Design & Digital Fabrication in Wroclaw, OSSA Student Workshops and a few others, where he developed his capabilities and expertise in experimental design and contemporary design approach.

His work has been widely published in several online magazines such as Evolo, Yanko Design, suckerpunchdaily, detail.de and others.
